About the Role

Dakota Precision Manufacturing (DPM) is looking for a Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. This position is responsible for providing actionable financial insights that support decision-making, cost optimization, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability metrics to provide insights to leadership.
  • Data Management: Utilize financial software and ERP systems to maintain financial data accuracy and generate reports.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency across various departments.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Support internal financial controls, compliance with regulations, and audit processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO, Controller, and department managers to develop financial strategies that align with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analytics software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year
