About the Role
Dakota Precision Manufacturing (DPM) is looking for a Financial Analyst to play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. This position is responsible for providing actionable financial insights that support decision-making, cost optimization, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and impactful way.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability metrics to provide insights to leadership.
- Data Management: Utilize financial software and ERP systems to maintain financial data accuracy and generate reports.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency across various departments.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Support internal financial controls, compliance with regulations, and audit processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO, Controller, and department managers to develop financial strategies that align with business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analytics software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 per year
